DESCRIPTION:Be a Better Horse Owner Event 5Can you spot a lame horse?Tuesday 15th September from 7pmAt Dodderhill Equestrian£10 per ticketOur next horse owner evening will be all about learning how to recognise lameness and understand what your horse may be trying to tell you.We’ll be looking at questions such as:How do you spot a lame horse?Who should you contact to help your horse?How can you start to tell whether the problem may be coming from the foot\, lower limb\, upper limb or elsewhere in the body?What signs might you notice before it becomes more obvious?On the night we’ll have live horses available\, with a qualified equestrian carrying out walk-ups\, trot-ups\, work-ups and potentially some lunging\, so everyone can have a go at assessing movement and spotting whether a horse may be lame or not.We’ll also have a vet from MBG Vets and a physio joining us to chat through what to look for\, who to call and how different professionals can work together to help the horse.A really practical and informative evening for any horse owner who wants to feel more confident spotting when something isn’t quite right.

DESCRIPTION:Come along for a stress free hour with your horse. \nIn a new environment and allow the horse to explore and take in new objects and different horses whilst in a safe\, no pressure space.(These sessions are also great for people wanting to get out and do some in hand ground work with older horses.) \nThere is a maximum of 6 in a group and the sessions are coached by Arron Stevenson who has many years of experience with young horses.

DESCRIPTION:Confidence and Balance Camp – reconnect\, reset\, rebuild.\n\nStep away from routine and spend a purposeful weekend strengthening confidence\, balance and trust between you and your horse. This camp blends horsemanship with supportive rider coaching to help you feel safer\, more connected and genuinely enjoy riding. \nAcross the weekend\, Arron Stevenson will guide dedicated ground and ridden sessions focused on connection\, biomechanics\, clear communication and calm leadership. Everything is delivered in a positive\, encouraging way so you leave not only feeling more confident\, but with practical tools you can continue to use at home. \nAlongside the riding\, you will take time to reset your own wellbeing. The experience includes mindfulness and breathwork\, and both riders and horses benefit from massage and relaxation work delivered by Debbie Smith from The Healing Barn. Good food matters too\, so you will enjoy wholesome meals cooked on our outdoor grill to keep the atmosphere relaxed\, warm and social. Expect learning\, laughter and proper time to breathe. \nHorses can be stabled or in small grass paddocks weather permitting. Riders can camp in trailers or tents\, or choose one of our onsite log cabins. Toilets\, showers and kitchen facilities are all available. \nSmall numbers mean quality attention and a calm atmosphere.Maximum 8 riders. \n£350 per person including meals from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.£100 non-refundable deposit to secure your place.Balance due 14 days before camp.
